The Relationship Between Coronary Artery Tortuosity And Left Ventricular Diastolic Functions

چکیده

Introduction: We aimed to evaluate the relationship between coronary tortuosity and left ventricular relaxation disorder using conventional new diastolic function parameters evaluated with echocardiography. Methods: A total of 131 patients who underwent angiography for suspected artery disease were included in study. compared obtained echocardiography (CAT) normal arteries. Results: There was no correlation conventionally measured functions tortuosity. However, we significant findings such as myocardial performance index (MPI), early mitral inflow velocity, annular velocity (E/e΄). Especially, had moderate or severe tortuosity, there a increase anterior septal wall MPI. The E/e΄ ratio found be significantly higher moderate–severe Discussion Conclusion: CAT is common invasive cardiology. Tissue Doppler may useful determining dysfunction these patients.

Relationship between coronary tortuosity and plateletcrit coronary tortuosity and plateletcrit.

BACKGROUND Coronary tortuosity (CorT) is a common angiographic finding and may be associated with myocardial ischaemia, even without coronary artery disease. Platelets play a crucial role in inflammatory and thrombotic processes and the physiopathology of cardiovascular disease. Larger platelets are more active enzymatically and have higher thrombotic ability compared to smaller platelets. Plat...

The Impact of Cardiac Rehabilitation on Pulmonary Artery Systolic Pressure and Left Ventricular End-Diastolic Pressure in Patients after Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery

Background:Cardiac rehabilitation program (CRP) is a useful method of modifying cardiovascular risk factors, improving life expectancy and quality of life in patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD). The present study was conducted to evaluate the effects of cardiac rehabilitation on the pulmonary artery systolic pressure (PASP) and left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LV...

Relationship between pulmonary artery end-diastolic pressure and left ventricular filling pressure in patients in shock.

Bedside catheterization permitted 56 simultaneous measurements of left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP) and pulmonary artery end-diastolic pressure (PAEDP) in 25 patients in shock. Measurements were made over a wide range of heart rates (60-160 beats/min), arterial oxygen tension (P02; 33-562 mm Hg), stroke volumes (9-105 ml), and systolic arterial pressures (65-250 mm Hg), and before...

Diastolic left ventricular functional indices: Comparison between gated myocardial perfusion SPECT and echocardiography

Introduction: Many patients have only diastolic dysfunction without any abnormality in systolic function. We compared cardiac diastolic parameters obtained by gated myocardial perfusion SPECT (Gated SPECT) with those evaluated by echocardiography. Methods: Forty-nine patients (aged 37-85 years, 19 males and 30 women) underwent Gated SPECT and echocardiogr...

Relation between coronary artery size and left ventricular wall mass.

The cross-sectional area of the lumen of the proximal right coronary artery and the main stem of the left coronary artery were measured in 27 patients-6 normal subjects, 8 with minor coronary artery disease, 8 with aortic incompetence, 3 with primary myocardial disease, and 2 with a prolapsing posterior leaflet of the mitral valve and mild mitral incompetence. There was close linear correlation...
